Chapter Seven "Let Me Kiss You"

I woke up and found myself in a large bed that could contain five people, I sat on the bed and I did not know how I got there. I remember when King Lucan told me that we couldn't get home today, so we were in his uncle's palace.

"Where is him?" I murmured in a low voice. The door opened by the maids and they bowed their heads, they did not put on smile on their faces at all.

"Milady, King Lucan said you should change and come down for dinner"

I stood up and they took off my dress to bathe for me.

"Where is him"I asked them and they were confused.

"Who, milady"

"King Lucan" I can't believe that I'm worried about that devil.

"He is with King Thanatos" They replied and they were done taking off my dress. I was talking to the tub, which was full of pink roses in it. I love the scent and place me on the warm watery bathtub. They applied foaming soap on a soft brush and rubbed my back gently. I closed my eyes to enjoy the pleasure, of bathing me. They applied the cream on my soothing body and I was putting on a green Royal dress and they packed my hair in a ponytail with a neat bun.

They applied a little powder on my face and pink lipstick on my perfectly curved lips. Suddenly, the door opened it was King Lucan, and the maids quickly left leaving the two of us. He moved closer to me and all of a sudden, he bent and buried his head in the hollow of my neck.

"Marie" He uttered my name, and his voice became hoarse.

I felt goosebumps form on my skin as never had my name sounded so tantalizing and seductive from his lips.

Lucan POV

When I dropped her on the bed, her long brownish hair covered her beautiful face, and removed inches of the hair from her face. I stood up and left her alone in the room, I saw some maids cleaning the garden and instructed them if Marie woke up, they should dress her up. I sat down on a chair and Marie was still standing playing with her hands and her head was down.
