“Hey Sammy babe,” Jain said as she walked up sassily “oh hey Jain what’s up,” Sam asks “oh nothing really. Where is my Jackie” she asked curiously “oh Sophie needed to talk to him,” Sam told her tiredly “oh really about what” she asked irritatedly “don't know but she was yelling that it was important so he went” Sam said shrugging his shoulders unsure “oh really” she said smiling angrily “yeah why! Do you need him” Sam asked curiously “yea I do but I'll just talk to him later thanks Sammy babe,” she said blowing him a kiss as she turned around walking off? Her anger showing in her eyes “uh sure” Sam said unsure as he watched her walk away. Her anger raged “Well that's interesting isn't it. Now if I'm correct, which I always am, Sophie's friends with that little freak who we have a problem with” Jain growled “hmm now this’ll be fun” she said laughing evilly.

Chapter 4.

It's so warm? What happened? I thought dazed “she must have really been tired if that's the case,” Jack softly asked his voice close. While a warm hand gently brushed across my forehead. “Well it's been stressful on her. First she has the council, second this problem, third….” Sophie stopped her seriousness turning to laughter making Jack worry even more “Mmmmm” I moaned sitting up as I rubbed my eyes “oh uh hey Jasmine sorry if we woke you up” Jack said nervously looking down at my face “no-no your fine what happened” I asked dazed “oh you fell asleep on Jack” Sophie said bluntly before bursting out laughing seeing me freeze. My eyes widened, my body shocked wide awake turning beet red. I jumped up nervously stuttering “I’m I’m so sorry I didn’t mean to I guess I was really tired I haven't really slept well in...in the past couple of days” I said nervously laughing “no it's fine” Jack said smiling weakly as Sophie laughed harder and harder to tears “and guess what when you went limp in his arms he started freaking out” Sophie laughed wiping the tears of laughter away. I looked at a bright red Jack nervously sweating, slowly turning away from my soft gaze “yea it was funny, he was like...”

“Uh Sophie she stopped moving, SOPHIE SHE STOPPED MOVING! WHAT DO I DO” Jack said freaking out. Sophie hurried over to see Jasmine sleeping soundly. Letting out a sigh of relief she looked at Jack for a moment while he held the sleeping Jasmine. Sophie sat down and took a breath, “she's just sleeping” you could see the relief in his face. “Well at least she stopped crying” Sophie said grateful “yeah but what do I do now. I don't want to wake her up. Maybe you should take her...” Jack asked unsurely. Sophie snorted “have you never had a girl fall asleep on you before” Sophie asked laughing as Jack shook his head looking back at the sleeping girl. “No it's not that it's just, she was crying then she just goes limp wouldn’t that have scared you” Jack asked concerned “yeah I guess so but she's always been like that, ever since we were little. She would always pass out after crying really hard. It scared me every time when we were kids but I got used to it somehow but then she just stopped crying in front of me. But...” Sophie stopped herself “I don't see how you could get used to it. I had a heart attack” he laughed “yeah well hopefully she won't do it as much as she used to” Sophie hoped “so, I take it she cried a lot.” “Yea she was a big ol’ cry baby it got worse every time until she just stopped crying around people” she explained “do you know why she quit” Jack asked concerned “well she doesn't exactly have the best past” Sophie said apologetically. “I understand maybe she'll tell me in the future” Jack said optimistically as he looked down at her caringly “she must have really been tired,” Jack said looking at her sleeping face him moving a string of hair away from her face “yea she doesn't normally fall asleep at school and never on anyone for that matter” Sophie stated “really” Jack asked shocked. “Yeah she doesn't trust anyone anymore she thinks they are all monsters out to hurt. I guess you're different in her eyes even if she doesn't know it.” Sophie said smiling “what” Jack asked curiously “nothing” Sophie laughed “ok but she really must have been tired if that's the case huh” Jack softly asked gently brushing hair out of Jasmine’s eyes “well it's been stressful on her I mean first she has the council, second this problem, third….” Sophie stopped her seriousness turning to laughter...

“So that's what happened,” Sophie explained. Shocked, I looked at the bright cherry red Jack that sat turned away from me “thanks” I smiled trying to make him relax. “WAIT WHAT TIME IS IT” I yelled concerned turning back towards Jack and Sophie hurriedly “uh I..I don't know” Jack said nervously turning his head away from my concerned stair “Sophie” I growled crossing my arms straightening my posture “nope sorry don't know either hehe” she shrugged as she laughed evilly “really guys what time is it” I said irritatedly. Jack looked at Sophie then turned towards me “About...one...in the afternoon” Jack said nervously “WHAT! Why didn't you wake me? We have class” I said hurriedly getting up “Jasmine, no you are not ok enough to go back” Sophie said with worry in her eyes “nope can't do that I have jobs to do” I said walking off when suddenly Jack grabbed my hand pulling me back to the ground, pinning me underneath himself, looking me straight in the eyes “Sorry you can't go to school today,” Jack said smiling wickedly. Blushing I look to the side away from his smile. “Let me up Jack,” I said blushing “sorry can't do that you’ll run back to school for all I know,” he said jokingly. Letting out a sigh I blushed even more with a small smile. The truth was I was kind of relieved not going to school for a chance and avoiding the issues that made me this way. I looked at Jack and smiled “what you smiling about” he asked interested. “Well it's kind of funny how this played out isn’t it,” I said laughing. Sophie looked to me then to Jack who still had yet to let me up from underneath. Seeing him smiling back we both laughed “yea I guess it is,” Jack said. Sophie growled her curiosity getting the better of her. “What? I want to know,” Sophie asked glaring daggers at Jack hinting to move. Realizing the situation he was in, he immediately jumped back into the grass far enough to where he could still extend his hand to help me sit up. The both of us laughed it off though our faces stayed a light pink “when Jack and I met yesterday he kinda fell on top of me” I laughed “WHAT! How” Sophie asked infuriated her posture stating that she was ready to kill. “Calm down he was in a hurry to hide but when I opened the door he just jumped in and closed the door knocking all my papers out of my hands.” I laughed “which I took to the office” he said weakly laughing as Sophie crossed her arms playfully. “Oh really I wouldn’t have taken you as that kind of man Jack” Sophie laughed making Jack look up at her panicked “Wait! What?” he said frantically “trying to seduce a girl how ungentlemanly tsk-tsk-tsk” Sophie teased making me laugh as Jack looked at Sophie puzzled “what...what do you mean? I wasn’t, I wouldn’t, I mean I didn’t” Jack said getting even more frazzled making Sophie and I laugh harder as he looked from Sophie over to me his face blushing a bright red “calm down Jack I’m just messing” Sophie laughed seeing Jack lay back with a sigh “don't do that to me” Jack sighed “no promises” Sophie laughed. Jack looked at me sharply smirking “and you. Really Jasmine laughing instead of helping me.” he said playfully. “Hey sorry it was too funny I couldn’t help it,” I said playfully giggling “oh you can to,” he said. All of us trying not to laugh instead we all burst out laughing “this is great.” I sighed happily.

But sadly all that happiness

wouldn't last long because in the shadows were three evil souls plotting a mischievous plan.
