It's our anniversary again

Days turned into weeks,weeks turned into months. The storm had calmed on the surface,Aila had recovered fully and was ready to be discharged. Her father had been called by Anwyll and Myla but he never showed up due to the instigation from Teina.

Anny sat in her bedroom thinking about the previous happenings and the mysterious call she got. She patted her face for a while and told herself not to think about it. Then,she remembered that Aila is getting discharged and that their anniversary is coming up in a week's time. Anny gasped because she hadn't even started preparing for the anniversary and she wanted to make it a perfect day for Aila.

Her hips wiggled as she stood up walking to the bathroom. She took a quick bath,wore an exquisite dress and put on a light makeup. Then, she headed for the hospital.

Aila was watching some t****k videos on her phone when Anny arrived. Upon arrival, Anny's face lit up when she saw Aila, she hugged her immediately and she said that,

“Babe,thanks for staying strong for me,I miss you so much”

“It was just yesterday we saw each other, isn't it?“Aila asked jokingly.

“I can't wait for us to be gisting and strolling around……….Babe do you remember what we are celebrating next week?“

“Hmmm,what is that? Is there a party next week?“

Anny's happy face dimmed immediately but she covered it up and said,”We are having our anniversary next week dummy”.

Aila slapped her face lightly and said, “How could I forget such a big thing, I am sorry dear”

“Nah, it's fine,how could you have remembered when you were sick, it's not your fault, anyways I am happy you are getting discharged today”.

The two chatted for a while before Anny's driver came to pick them up.

Like a flash,the day of the anniversary came fast. It was finally the D-day,the seventh year of their anniversary. The best friends don't always celebrate their anniversary in an elaborate manner but this year, Anny decided to surprise Aila.In the Thatchers' mansion,it was bustling with excitement,music was softly playing and people were starting to arrive but the event hasn't started yet because they were waiting for those that own the day.

In Anny's room,the girls were dressed in matching outfits,their necks were adorned with jewelries and they look extremely gorgeous as if the outfits were made for them. The two checked out their outfits in the standing mirror and they were satisfied with what they saw. They opened the room's door and headed downstairs. When people saw them,they opened their mouth widely in admiration and applause rang out from different corners.
