By the time I woke, Maximus had already left the room. He had left a note in his place, saying he would see me later that night after dinner and that he had a full day of things to do. I figured that his teachers would get on him since he'd been skipping so many classes. I didn’t mind though, as much as I did like him, he was a distraction and I needed to focus on school and figuring out what I was and how to shift.
I quickly got dressed, washed my face and headed out the door to see Nora, Ava and Sophia waiting for me. We greeted each other and headed down to the dining hall for breakfast.
