I found myself awake before Maximus, but I didn’t want to disturb him, so I just laid there, taking in the warmth he provided me as I watched the small bugs with glowing lights dance around the space above us. The sun had gone down long ago, leaving the moon to wander this place alone. The sky was clear, you could see every spec of star that lined the sky.
