Sophia and Nora must have been waiting to have this party. The section of the woods were decorated with streamers and paper hearts, leading over to a large fire pit in the center of a clearing. Music played from somewhere nearby and a table had been set up with drinks and food.
“THEIR HERE!” Someone bellowed over the crowd as everyone turned towards us, cheering and clapping as we came into view. I smiled shyly as Maximus roared out to the crowd in response. A happy roar non-the-less. He took our intertwined hands and held them in the air above our heads as the crowd went wild. I wasn’t expecting this type of celebration, but everyone seemed really happy for us. Each giving us congratulations as we went by. I couldn’t help but smile at my mate as he looked down at me, only stopping once
