I fought between the canvases and my Luna books. The urge to paint with my new supplies was strong and won out over the books. I had set up my easel in the corner next to the balcony doors, so I could breathe in the fresh scent of the forest as I painted. I moved my dresser over so that I could rest the box of paints against it for now, but I made a mental note to get a small table just for the paints instead at some point. I changed into some clothes that I didn’t care too much about and found myself staring at the canvas. At first, I wasn’t sure what to paint, but that sunset on the mountain quickly came to mind.
