I quickly jumped to my feet and took off as fast as I could in the direction that Ormr had last been in. I hadn’t yet run in my wolf form, but somehow my instincts just took over, and I was doing it all on my own. It didn’t seem to matter how far ahead I got, the creature was still gaining on me. The surrounding wind seemed to blow harder until I felt the brunt of it on my side, knocking me into a tree. I yelped as I tried to force myself back to my feet. However, the harpie was much faster as I felt talons rip through my fur on my right side.
