I left my hair down, attempting to hide as many of the marks as possible until we knew more about them. But I brushed it out, and made myself look presentable before going back into my room with Maximus. “Hungry?” He asked and I nodded. Real food would be amazing, as I tried to ignore the creeping thought of my last meal. I only nodded with a smile as I walked towards the door with him, leaving my room and dorm silently. The halls of the school seemed to be filled with students lazing about. Many of them shared their stories of the weekend challenge as we walked by, hand in hand.
