It was dark inside the cave, but there was a bright light at the end of the tunnel. I watched it as it came into view. It almost looked like there was a floodlight shinning at us from the other side, but once we got closer, I knew that wasn’t true. It was a large clearing surrounded by a cliff that was hand carved with statues of what looked to be the goddess, four of them on all sides, wearing white robes with their heads down praying. In the center there was one single willow tree, with a large truck and around it a spring bubbled with new fresh water. I could smell the freshness of it the second we had hit the cave entrance. Along the grass there was a single red blanket that had been set up, and I knew instantly as Maximus trotted over to it that he had come and set it up beforehan
