Carter definitely saw me but I had no time to talk with him. Part of me wanted to get into his arms and be safe again but Sebastian's life was in my hands. I had to fight myself for turning around and get to Carter. I ran to the main street which was luckily insanely crowded. I took off one of my boots and threw it away to create some distraction with my scent for him and while I did this my heart ached a lot. A little later I did this with the other boot and ran to my father's house. On my way back I cut my hand and left a few drops of blood here and there also tried to touch as many people and surfaces as I could. This might keep him entertained for a while.
