Macey should have known that the daimon world wasn't a physical one. At least not in the sense of physically travelling there. No, Luc had led her into a small room in the Palace and locked the door from the inside. There were two guards outside as well, but Luc said it was important that nobody disturb their bodies while they were gone. Whatever that meant.
Once again, she was reminded of how different daimons were from all the other species she'd met. They seemed to be less attached to physical matter, to Earth, and instead existed between the planes. She'd learned a lot about them when reading that book back at the house in the mists, but there hadn't been anything about how to cross from here to the daimon realm. Now she was going to find out.
