She turned the page again, sure the symbol would change between this time looking at it and last time. And yet, there it was. Standing on the page just as clearly as the mark on Jonas's back. The only difference between his symbol and the one in the book was that this one was surrounded by six more marks. One for each of the Wardens.
"Remind me what it says about the markings?" Jonas was pacing back and forth, his sleeves rolled up to his elbows.
"The leader of the Wardens will be marked seven times, each one appearing as he or she melds their powers with the other Wardens. This can be done in person, or in an alternative plane but must be done before the Wardens can fulfill their duty and create a stable world once more," she read.
