Chapter 9 - Martin refuses to talk Martin was not sure how long it had been since he had eaten. The water they had given him was barely enough to hydrate him, and yet he had used his shirt to mop the sweat from his face and neck. In the adjoining cell, his young friend appeared even more uncomfortable, a fact for which Martin desperately wanted to apologize.
