I said my greetings and I joined them. I ate extra because of the energy that had drained out of me. My mom watched as I ate and once again, I felt uncomfortable.
"Are you okay? " She asked.
"Yes, I am a mom. I am good. I am just hungry." I told her and continued to devour my food. She then stood on her feet and moved closer to me and felt my temperature with the back of her hand.
"You see Mom. I told you I am fine." I said and I hope she would change her mind about the trip to Thailand. I just hope she allows me to leave. I didn't say anything about it though. After breakfast, I got up and made my way to the car. Mr Alex took to school.
