Chapter 6Later at night, I drove to meet up with Miguel while Mirna sat in the passenger seat in silence. Top 40 music played on the radio at a low volume, and I was surprised she didn’t want it any louder. She did look fabulous, though. Since we were going to an actual nightclub and not a bar, she’d taken advantage and wore her little black dress that showed more skin than she normally did, especially side boobs, because she knew all the men there wouldn’t hound her like horndogs the way they did at the straight clubs. Then again, there were lesbians, too. That was okay, though. She deserved a good night out, and I’d buy her all the fruity and candy drinks she wanted.
