Adventure awaits!

Chapter 1 : The quest begins

A strong fire emerges as the people scream for help in the smoke-filled wasteland surrounding them as the Evil monster laughs as they cry in miser-

HOLD ON!

Let's start from the beginning, shall we?

The sun was shining over a small village called Relivah. All the children in the village gathered round a big log by the shore watching as someone spoke about stories and myths they had heard.

Her most famous story is about the Lord of Infinity and how he could stop the attacks of the Evil Emperor a who attacked the village for as long as time.

She was known to tell stories of haunted ships and treasure under the sea. She wanted to explore, away from the small island she lived on and be a hero. She dreamed of sailing across the Seven seas and adventuring in the most dangerous jungles. Her name was Lindaya.

"...and they say if you get the Emerald of Peace, with the help of the Lord of Infinity, we might be able to stop the evil emperor."

All the children gave a big round of applause for her interesting story. But...

There was a boy who looked about her age who just glared at her annoyed-like. He had short, dark brown hair with a black bucket hat, and he looked kind of intimidating. Then he spoke-

"These stories are obviously fake, Lindaya, their just fairytales made to fool kids, there's no such thing as a Lord of Infinity."

The girl beside him glared at him.

"Ravi! Stop being so negative all the time. Who knows? Maybe we CAN find a way to stop the attacks."

The girl had freckles, short blonde hair with colorful hair pins and looked very kind. Her name was Ana.

"Lindaya will prove it!.... Right?", Ana said, hoping she would say 'yes'.

"Of course I will! I've always wanted an adventure-".

"Hold on.," Davi interrupted. "Let's make this more interesting."

The children looked in excitement.

"If this whole 'Lord of Infinity and Emerald of Peace' thing is real, then I'll leave you alone...BUT...if it's fake, you have to quit your whole fairytale business. No more stories. Deal?"

Lindaya thinks for a moment, would she really put her favorite thing to do on the line because of a simple bet?

Well...the answer was....

"Deal!"

They shook hands and went to prepare for tomorrow, then Ana insisted she should come as well. And she WAS the only one among the three who was actually responsible....and could cook, so she came along.

They were allowed to explore away from the village as long as it wasn't on the sea (this made Lindaya enraged) and enemy territory, which was basically the Empire.

The following day, they set off to the woods to find the Emerald of Peace.

Who will win the bet?

Will they find the Emerald of Peace and the Lord of Infinity to protect their village?

Will they be able to beat the Evil Emperor?

Will they return?

And most importantly....

WILL THE STORY GET MORE INTERESTING AS YOU CONTINUE READING THE SERIES?
