Get out the road!

5 hours later

School had finally let out for both Beyoncé and Kelly. Since Kelly was on the other side of the school they had decided to meet at the front of the school to walk out together. Beyoncé was a bit closer to the front exit than Kelly was so she would most likely make it first. Although they still had to go to their lockers.

They finally was about to meet up after like 5 minutes with it being so hectic and all of the students rushing out of the building at once.

"So how was your last class?" Kelly asked Bey as soon as she reached Kelly

"It was ok...boring?...but it's whatever!" She answered "but how about you?" She asked her

"It's ok I think it will be my favorite class for sure! But it's only the first day of school so I don't know yet!" Kelly shrugged

Beyoncé nodded her head and then spoke again

"So who are you waiting on to come pick you up?"

"Oh girl I live right across the street too!" Kelly laughed

"Oh! Let me guess...your parents thought it would save money?"

"We'll just my mom but yeah!" She laughed and so did Bey

As they began walking across the street together Beyoncé saw that boy Shawn again. She wanted to ask Kelly if she saw him but when she looked over to tap her Kelly was gone.

She looked back to look at the boy but he had already disappeared and she heard Kelly calling her name and a car honking their horn.

"Bey girl get out the middle of the street come on!" She heard she looked around before running to the sidewalk and watching the car speed off

"You good you've been spacing out all day!" Kelly said

"Yeah I'm good I'm just a bit tired is all." By this time Beyoncé had been freaking out. She kept seeing the same boy since elementary school that wasn't the issue. The issue was he actually interacted with her, and she had a feeling she met his mother today, and that scared her. She knew her life was about to drastically change.

"Well I will talk to you later and get some rest I don't need you stopping in the middle of the road again it's dangerous!" Kelly teased and Beyoncé laughed saying later back.

When she walked into the house the first thing she noticed was her father home from work.

"Hey bumblebee how was school?" He asked smiling at her

"It was ok!" She shrugged her shoulders as she walked in the kitchen to greet her father with a hug and kiss.

"Hey where is your white shirt? And why did you change into a black one?" He frowned

Beyoncé looked down with a confused face before remembering what happened at school.

"Oh some kid tripped me up and I fell into a puddle of water and my shirt got wet, so my new friend Kelly who lives right next to us gave me her spare I have to remember to give it back to her today." Beyoncé mumbled the last part to herself as she searched the fridge for a water.

"Are you serious?!" He asked

"Yea the whole school laughed at me but o don't really care." She spoke closing the refrigerator and sitting down at the table.

"Oh also my math teacher said he was gonna call you or mom because I solved a math problem on the board and he thought I was wasn't paying attention then someone called me a nerd and the teacher and the rest of the class laughed then I rolled my eyes at the class and the teacher thought I was rolling my eyes at him but when I tried to explain to him what happened he told me that he didn't want to hear it." She told him and her father nodded his head

"Yeah I was just about to ask you about that. It seemed like a waste of a phone call to me because even if you rolled your eyes at the teacher he shouldn't be laughing at you." He spoke and Beyoncé nodded her head agreeing

Beyoncé wasn't sure if she wanted to ask her father this or not. She didn't know if she was ready for the change that was going to happen once this object was in her room but she asked anyways.

"Dad?..."

"Yeah what's up?"

"Can we go buy me a mirror?" She asked him

"Yeah we can I was just about to go to Walmart anyways. We can get whichever one you like!" He smiled and she nodded her head as he grabbed his keys.
