I rang Ana up , both curiosity and worry eating me up. She picked up on the first ring and based on her excitement i knew all was well but the girl was definitely up to some mischief.
Ana and I had met on our first year of senior high school and instantly clicked. You would think we are similar but that's not the case. We are polar opposites. Ana is a social butterfly, everyone knows her and she easily makes friends. I on the other end only had a couple of friends and most people knew me as Ana's bestie.
"Girllll, I've got some big news" she shrieked excitedly from the other end . I could literally feel her jumping.
"so i got three tickets to The Dungeon , i know I'm the best"
To say i was shocked. The Dungeon!!!! That was literally the most famous club. it was reputated to be the haven of the rich. How the hell did Ana get the tickets. I had to ask and before i could she told me she had to go but she promised to come to my place the next day with the tea. The anticipation was killing me. But with Ana, this did not come as a surprise. We hung up after saying our goodbyes with the promise of talking the next day. I got my headphones, playing music as i walked snow. I could not appreciate today's whether more. It was neither too sunny nor too cold, just the right sunny. I swayed to the music as Snow chased butterflies which occasionally got me laughing. The streets were less crowded which i more than appreciated , considering it was 4pm. I never appreciated crowds. This was the time that most people were coming from school or their jobs. So this was a little surprising. I watched Snow chase a slightly smaller dog and giggled. 'Tis funny how the smallest things brought smiles to our faces. I picked some flowers too, i mean it was better than just standing staring at Snow and i loved flowers.
Soon it was getting dark and i knew i should be heading home. The streets were not safe, as they said. I called Snow , who was pleasantly compliant and we headed home. Knowing very well that i was not going to cook , i ordered Pizza as i watched Enchanto for the hundredth time. I soon fell asleep thinking of tomorrow evening. My last party as a minor.
