Ray got released from the hospital that night but she didn’t leave. She came right into Sawyer’s room and sat with me, our hands linked together as a united front as Ava and Art continued to monitor her, running tests and checking vitals. They have been trying to get me to go home to shower but I refused to leave the room, only calling Hannah and Austin to check on the kids and talk to Ivy, making sure she’s okay. She wants to come see Sawyer so they are supposed to come soon. And who needs to go home and shower when there's one here in the room? It might be small, but it does the job.
