Chapter IIIThe prince returned to his rooms.
Antonia was waiting for him as usual for the arrangements he gave her every evening organizing the following day. Normally he got up rather late and the servants could not wait for him to go down to start their working day, so the nurse came to take orders in the evening and then reported His Highness’ wishes the next morning to the butler who, in turn, tried to assign the various tasks to the servants, the cooks, the gardeners, the stablemen.
The boy was almost euphoric that evening. He had received a message from Alfredo and told the housekeeper that the next day his brother would be a guest at the castle.
