LEAH's POV. "I said I'm fine!" I brushed past Hardin's shoulder, making my way out of the cabin doors. I heard his footsteps crunch the stones behind me and then he pulled my arms back. I halted before turning around to face him and in that moment, I looked at Hardin. Like really looked at him. He had the same dark hair, the same curved lips, and the birthmark just about her brow. He had the same eyes too but something was different. Only now, I couldn't unsee it. I still stared into his eyes and in them was the memory of the last night. They were the last thing I saw before I felt the sting in my neck. "It was you," I whispered. My mind raced with thoughts and my lips trembled with all the questions on them. "Tell me the truth, Hardin. For once!" I had no idea when my voice rose.
