The day after, I walked back into school and figured it was easier to pretend everything was normal.
Even though I had been bitten by Blake, for some reason I still hadn't shifted. I was only desperate to put everything behind me and go back to my normal, boring life now that the whole thing with Hardin was over.
Luckily, we didn't need a huge breakup announcement, the whole school seemed to have moved past it after a month which was exactly our plan. With the spring finals coming up and the semester break ahead, the much-anticipated Ashwood Wolves semi-final hockey match against the Evergreen Eagles, everyone had their own things to look forward to. Which was why I thought I wouldn't see Hardin today, but I was wrong.
