Despite all else, Maya tried to enjoy her day with Tumo by her side holding her hand throughout she managed, when everyone started to clear, Mme and Ntate’Tomas and his wife had long returned home while Tumo stayed behind as per Vusi’s request.
Everyone sat at the lounge having coffee and freshly baked muffins from Kagiso; they kept teasing him about his love for cooking and baking while still praising his skills.
Katlego was nowhere in sight, probably left with one of the guys that were eyeing her, while Loyiso and Tshego were cuddled up on the one sitter couch, and for the first time, he engaged with everyone.
