Chapter 10:
A NEW LIFE BEGINS
I woke up in a strange room. The mattress changed into tender, much softer than I changed I'm used to. The walls had been painted blue, and sunlight streamed through the windows. I sat up gradually, trying to make sense of my environment.
"Good morning," a voice said.
I grew to become a girl standing in the doorway. She was wearing a simple, yet stylish get dress.
"Who are you?" I asked.
"My call is Marissa," she said, smiling warmly. "I'm here to help you get settled."
"Where am I?" I asked.
"You're within the Riverdale Packhouse," Marissa explained. "Alpha Ethan added you here."
