SHADOWS OF THE PAST
I couldn’t shake the mind of Ethan’s beyond my mind. The photograph of the woman in his look, the manner his eyes had hardened while he said her... I couldn’t help but wonder who she was, and what she had supposed to him. She seemed like she had been someone unique, a person essential. But that wasn’t my concern. My consciousness needed to be in the present. I had to discover a way to earn Ethan’s belief if I turned into ever going to get the revenge I craved.
