A NEW ALLIANCE
The days following our victory brought a sense of careful optimism. The pack Changed into beginning to rebuild, and there was a renewed experience of desire inside the air. But whilst we celebrated our triumph, we knew that Landon changed into still accessible, plotting his next move. We didn't have enough money to allow our shields down.
Ethan and I endured paintings closely together, our bond developing more potent with each passing day. We spent our time fortifying our defenses, schooling our pack contributors, and strategizing for destiny. My electricity changed, becoming extra refined, and I began gaining knowledge of how to manipulate it with greater ease. But there was nonetheless a lingering feeling of unease, a feeling that something was coming.
