Chapter 10
Jack’s motorcycle took them around to the bay side of the island. A small housing development sported a handful of ostentatious mansions with private docks and ornate shrubbery. They parked alongside the house on the far end of the development. Rob pressed his lips together as he saw Jack maneuver the bike so that it was hidden behind the garbage cans.
“Are we allowed to be here?”
“Sure.” Jack flashed a mischievous grin. “You’re allowed to be anywhere if you don’t get caught.”
“Will we be caught?” Rob said dryly.
Jack snickered and started to walk towards the house. “Nah. There’s no one renting it out this week. I checked the realtor’s site.”
