My head was banging when I woke up, I groaned I tried to get out of bed but there was someone there. It was this woman.

Huh?

Wait this isn't even my-

In a flash, every single memory of last night flooded my head.

I sat up immediately and looked around, he wasn't there. The room was empty, just this woman. I sighed.

I tapped her.

"Hi, it's time to leave", I said.

"Oh, I'm so sorry I overslept", she said getting up immediately.

I nodded, she dressed up and left afterwards.

I sighed and went back to bed.

What happened to me last night? what did I drink? did I just have a threesome with.... with Veronica's other ex boyfriend?.

Okay we didn't really do anything inappropriate because I could tell he was drunk and was probably going to regret a good number of things in the morning... which clearly he did but all we did was kiss.

And it was... so hot and heated and... I can't really remember the details of it but I knew for sure that it was something I haven't felt before. She f****d the both of us and we went to sleep.

Great, well now that's taken care of, I have to go back to the reality of things, I've clearly lost the job, and I don't have anywhere to stay and I can only leave in a motel for a couple of days If I don't want to go bankrupt.

I should probably leave this hotel before they come kick me out.

Oh s**t my bags were in Sebastian's car.

The door bell rang immediately and for three seconds, I hoped it would be him.

I pulled the sheets around my waist and went to get it.

"Hi....room service", the young man said with a large tray filled with food.

"Oh uhm, I didn't order this", he said and another man behind him came with my bags and clothes.

"Yes, Mr Greenwood instructed we take good care of you in your stay here, he said whenever you choose to leave that you should feel free".

Feel free? this place looks like it would cost $5000 per night! and here I was thinking of where to get cheap motels for $100

"Oh", I said almost smiling.

So I'm guessing he doesn't hate me that much then.

Immediately they left, I shut the door and went back to the bed and then noticed something in the table.

It was a note and a card.

it was his house address and a "See you soon new bodyguard", note and his office address on the card

I smiled again.

Okay maybe I've not lost everything.

But this is going to be hard, working for him when clearly I'm turned on by just looking at him. What is with me and always liking my boss?

Well at least I have where to live till I'm certain of what to do next

I'll go visit my mother tomorrow maybe. Haven't seen her in a while.

I went to shower and when I came out I saw 17 missed calls from Veronica.

What the???

I called her back immediately.

"Hello".

"Asher where are you?", did she maybe find out that I had a threesome with Sebastian? I don't think so.

"I'm in a hotel".

"Ok can you please come back to the house we need to talk, I said some really messed up things yesterday and I'm sorry", she said.

But I was used to this honestly.

She plays the victim card, pretends to be apologetic but In reality she just wants something.

"Okay", I said and then had breakfast and then took a cab and went back there.

She was in her room wearing black lingerie.

"Asher", she called me softly and tried to touch me.

I moved away.

"You wanted to see me?".

"Don't be like this okay? I'm sorry, but you know I'm a supermodel, it's my job, men will always come, it doesn't matter who I chose it's who my heart belongs to and it's you".

"And you uhm... you said all that you said last night and now you suddenly have a change of heart".

"I'm sorry, I was just so angry, my engagement to does men were just fake and for the media, I don't care about any of them the way I do for you".

"What do you want Veronica?".

"I want you".

"No not that, be serious, whenever you apologize you want something"

She sighed, I really love you Asher, but media needs gossip, drama and juicy stuffs and, I need to get Sebastian back because that's the only way I could get on with that line. I'm so sorry for not telling you from the beginning, but I just need you to help me, we won't get married, I promise, just for a couple of weeks and then you can have all of me back, and of course you're still my favourite bodyguard, I could never replace you".

I scoffed, "First of all, you fired me yesterday and I think that's exactly what I needed, a break from you and your toxicity, second of all, Sebastian is an amazing man, and I got to find out yesterday after having a good talk with him, he deserves someone who truly loves him and doesn't want him for fame and more popularity? okay? so no I'm not going to help you and this time I'm brave to say it because I no longer work for you and we're done, I'm tired of being your puppet and let you use me because you're better than me, that's never happening again ", I said and walked out of the room

"Asher, Asher are you walking out on me? after everything I've done for you! I picked you from the slums and made you who you are today and you just think you can walk away from me like that!", she yelled following me.

"Watch me", I said and walked out of the house and slammed the door behind me.
