"In a not-so-peaceful world, humans lived in terror and hiding. Titans, creatures that were as strong as a hundred of the humans, hunt them as food. Many tried to retaliate against the beasts, but the results only drove despair deeper into their hearts. They discovered that it wasn't just strength that made the beasts fearsome, they also had the power to control one of the four elements, namely water, earth, fire, and air. The few living humans lived in groups to survive and were nocturnal, for the titans were usually asleep at night. One day, Brando, a man renowned for his ability to fight, led his fighting group to triumph over one of them in an effort to survive an attack on his group's cave.
