Petitions pile on petitions as Zoran drops a new set on my desk. Situations surrounding my mate and my pack made me slack in my duties. Failing in the worst way.
It’s not in my principles, but Milena's situation is essential. My mind is settled knowing she is safe and resting on my island.
What is she doing now? Did she let Nana out and go for a run? How is her reaction when she visits the kitchen and finds the various meals laid out for her? I can imagine her bright smile.
I hope she is excited enough to forget how terrible the past few days of her life have been. I wish for her to live in the moment and enjoy all good things. This is temporary, but I promise to find a permanent solution before I run out of time.
