Chapter 3

281 Words
I don’t know how, but my pimple has mysteriously disappeared. It’s a miracle I tell myself with a smile.    Today I woke up with a lot of energy and I am quite happy. For the first time in a while, I actually want to make myself look presentable.  I ran to my tiny bathroom and looked in the mirror. My skin was so clear and flawless, for the first time in forever.  I brushed my teeth and had my bath. I put on a skin enhancer and rubbed on my Victoria's Secret lip gloss. I debated on what style to put my hair in. But I finally chose to put my hair in an effortless but cute half up and half down style. I changed into a vibrant red crop top to match my olive complexion, and paired it off with tight jeans that made my figure look nice. “I’m going mom '' I said as I dashed down the stairs grabbing a granola bar from the pantry “Wait honey come back here” my mom called after me. “Yes mom” I said. “Oh sweetheart, you look gorgeous, my baby is growing up” she said as tears welled in her eyes. “Thanks mom I love you” I shouted as I ran out of the door. I waited at the bus stop and 30 seconds later the bus came. My nerves went CRAZY.   The bus doors opened and I walked up the stairs. I looked at the sea of new faces.         I took a deep breath and thought. You can do it Haisley, this is your fresh start.
