Shea’s P.O.V. Could this night get any worse? No sooner does Jayden drop me off at my house than my mother starts in on me, informing me how worthless he is. She looks for any reason to hate him. I tried to lock myself in my room to get away from her, but she has a key and unlocks it every time. She took my truck keys a while ago and has not stopped. I couldn’t take it anymore as I grabbed my phone and walked out the front door, heading down our long driveway. My mother responded by yelling, “Fine, I’m locking the door.” then slammed it shut.
