On Thursday of that week, Lilia got up early and decided today was the day she would make contact with Sonia. She prepared herself for disappointment, but no matter what, she made an effort.
She left a note for Justin. ‘Gone out for the day. Don’t wait up. Lilia.’
Lilia arrived at Sonia’s house at about 6:45 am and waited for the opportunity to speak with her daughter. Then, at 7 am, the front door opened and Sonia and the man she saw come and go several times came out arm in arm.
