“I… I was… I… there was actually a speck of…” I stuttered, trying hard to make up some words, but they obviously failed me. I could barely get a word out because my trembling hand had already given me away.
“Argh,” he groaned, causing me to realize I was resting a bit on his wound. Sweat dripped from his forehead down to his cheeks, but he wasn’t ready to let me go.
