The Stone of Vision and the Forest Frozen in Time

A little more and the Amulet is already in the hands of the Nymph…then he saw visions, he saw Dahlia right on the same situation when she turned into specks of light. Then there’s Uni who bravely fought the Demons and finally Elder Elf Onvai with his tiny heart worn out… he remembered what he said in the main hall.
“It must have been hard for you protector, but you can only find answers if you follow the prophecy. Don’t you wanna know the truth? That even if you are not the chosen protector Dahlia would still have to die? And every else would if we cannot complete the stones to power up the amulet. There will be a lot more creatures who will suffer and eventually die, not only in the light realm but even the balance of the Light and the Mortal realm. Your world would be affected too”.
“Yes, even if I’m not the protector someone else would have been chosen. Ascarus would still kill people and Light creatures…this won’t stop until I put end to this!” said Zack. The Amulet disappeared and Zack jumped back. He saw Eko, and everyone else. All of a sudden everything came back normal. The hot sunny feeling. He look at the Nymph. She burst out in laughter…
“You are indeed the worthy protector, I would lend you my power when you needed it. You have to endure more hurdles from now on. Be strong and use your heart to see the truth behind falseness”. Said the Nymph. It turned itself into a blue stone and made its way to Zack’s hand. Zack made the Amulet appear and it merged with the stone of vision.
As it unite with amulet it created carved writing that states…
“Calling down the power of Grimoire. I Zack, the chosen protector command the hidden forces of the Amulet to show your true power before me”.
“Another stone Zack! We found another fragment of the amulet!” said Eko.
“Yes, I have collected the second stone, and it made carvings on the amulet” Zack said in a confused voice.
“Carvings? Let me see!”
Zack showed the carvings to Eko as he read it.
The Amulet light up. A magic circle appeared, a strong force surrounded the circle and knocked Eko out of it… “What is going on Eko?”… Zack asked in a trembling voice.
“I don’t know!” said Echo.
Zack’s body started to float. And the amulet turned itself into an armor. It has a flat top helm with a face guard shaped in the face of an angel. Attached to the forehead are two wide, wing-like ornaments. The shoulders are fairly pointed with spikes that of an eagle’s wings. The upper arms are also protected by pointed, layered metal rerebraces which sit perfectly under the shoulder plates. The lower arm is covered by vambraces which have a tentacle-like metal ornament and has several rows of barb-like spikes attached to each side wrapping around each vambrace.
The breastplate is made from various layers of rounded metal sheets with layers of smaller metal pieces, mimicking the scales of a reptile. It covers the entire front and back side, but the attachment straps leave the sides under the arms exposed. The upper legs are covered by a chainmail skirt reaching just below the groin. The lower legs are protected by greaves which have a tentacle-like metal ornament seemed to be masterfully crafted and shaped like dragon scales. Both attached to each side and wrapping around the greaves.
Finally the sword. A long broad, barbed blade held by a grip wrapped in leather. With a point as sharp as a razor. The blade has a narrow, slightly curved cross-guard, offering plenty of protection to the owner’s hands. The cross-guard has a plain orb on each side. A wide pommel is decorated with the earth stone, the vision stone and three other holes for the remaining stones with one big hole in the middle for the main stone.
“Woaahh this is cool” Zack said as he float back to the ground with the full metal armor on his body. And one big heavy sword.
“I can feel its power” he said.
He tried to wield the sword and brought huge column of rocks up from the ground.
“OOpps I didn’t know it works that way”… he then closed his eyes and all parts of the metal armor and the sword turned into speck of light and made its way back to the amulet.
“Wait, so she’s not an enemy?” Zack asked.
“No I guess, when the time that the power of the Amulet of Grimoire dispersed across the light realm. The soul stone may have lived here for a long time. Using its magic, it turned itself into a Nymph. It is said that the stone of vision holds the power of making illusions and reveal the truth. That’s what you just saw.” Eko explained.
Then they felt the ground shaking. Then trees appear from one place to another. This time they are taller and bigger. They can now hear the birds chirping. Far from the pale forest they first saw. More and more creatures showed up, it’s as if they have been concealed from a long time.
“I never saw any sign of life when we first came here” said Zack. “But now, look! The grassland is filled with trees and other life forms.”
“The power of the vision stone may have frozen the forest for a long time. For the longest time, this place has been called dark forest, some even call it forest of the Nymphs…” said Eko.
*** Kingdom of Avrok
“As day passes by I can feel Grimoire’s power coming into life! You useless scumbags!” angrily Ascarus stomped his hands on the arm rest of his throne. In a distance, he used his hands to call the soul staff. Crimson flame started to appear in Lilith’s body. Ascarus is ready to kill her.
“My lord, forgive me for failing you. I will look for possible clues in the mortal realm about the mortals past, and look for something that could defeat him.” Lilith said while running out of breath.
Ascarus let go of her and made a soul portal to the mortal realm… “This is the last chance you have Lilith, fail me and you’ll die.” Said Ascarus.
***Mortal Realm
Zach? … Mrs. Miller? Anyone home? Lee started knocking on the door. He realized the back door of the kitchen is wide open. He immediately checked on it and was shocked about what he saw. “What happened here?” he asked. He saw Zack’s house in total mess. Almost everything is broken. “Were they robbed?” “Zack! Zackary are you here?” He went upstairs but he found nothing but broken pieces of house furniture and shattered glass all over the place. Then he saw blood stains on the pieces of debris. “Oh my God. “I have to call the police!” he went downstairs to call for help. But he stepped on something, as he slowly remove his feet on it he notice that it’s hard and most likely metal made. It’s a golden dagger. He picked it up and was amazed as how it meticulously crafted…
“This is so cool” he said….
