Chapter 20: Lunar Eclipse

Lucia's POV

"I will become a werewolf." I said in shock. They both nodded. "Well, I will leave you ladies alone, there are a few things I need to discuss with the council. When you are ready, Carolina will take you to me and I will bring you safely back." Lucretius smiled to me. "Thank you Fredrik.. I meant Lucretius." I smiled back. "You can call me both Fredrik or Lucretius, it doesn't matter." he laughed and started walking towards the door. "See you soon." and with that he left  outside the door.

"Alright Miss. I have to explain you somethings that will happen within like two months." Carolina said turning around and went towards the window, looking out. " You are pregnant with werewolf, which means that your pregnancy will be short and demanding. It will be a tough pregnancy. But I will be there to help you out. Your pregnancy should last for about two or three months. The chances of surviving the birth is very low." Carolina said, I could see pain in her eyes. "Were you pregnant with Lucretius before? And....And.." I couldn't say that word. "Yes, I was pregnant with Lucretius, and...." She stopped talking. "and when I was about to give birth....the child died and so did I....Lucretius loved me so much that he broke all the rules for me, just to let me live alongside him, even if we cant be together." She sniffed, drying her tears, acting like she wasn't bothered. "I will make sure you and your children shall live." she looked at me with hope. 

I stood up from bed. I looked at my belly, it has grown quite a lot for it being like my first month? I put my hand on my belly, feeling the baby bump. Smiling to myself. "Looks like your belly has grown a lot, well since the pregnancy time with werewolf child is kind of weird. You should be in your fourth month. that makes it a little bit under 2 months left. I think that your beloved would love to hold you and your child." she said, smiling to me. "I hope so...But don't they think I'm dead? I mean, everyone thought that was the main reason why I came here." I asked, slowly fixing my dress, remembering how Aiden looked at me the last time, I felt tears prick my eyes. "Well, the council would kill you, if you weren't pregnant and a part of the clan. I mean, Aiden marked you properly, if they hurted you, Aiden and Andrew, the clan leader would have full reason to murder people from each clan that hurted you." she giggled.  "Now let's go, I need to bring you to Lucretius and he will bring you safely home." She smiled to me and walked to the door. I followed her out and walked to Lucretius's room.

Carolina knocked twice on the door, and within a few seconds it opened, revealing Lucretius. "Alright then, lets go. Carolina? you coming with us?" Lucretius looked at her sweetly. I felt a rush of happiness and sadness run through me. I wish I had Aiden here with me. "I can join you, of course." She smiled back. "Alright lets go, and here you got a jacket here, so you are warm on the way back." Lucretius passed me a fur coat. "Thank you, Lucretius." I smiled and took the coat from him. It was heavy and really warm. I put it around my shoulders and walked behind Carolina and Lucretius, who tried his best to act professional with Carolina. 

We walked to the enormous gate, as it opened, the cold wind hit me in the face. It was pitch black outside making me believe that it was in the middle of the night. Lucretius and Carolina turned into their werewolf form and he lowered himself down. I sat myself on his back, gently grabbing his fur. They started walking out and later on they started to run at full speed. The air was so cold and it felt like each second it would cut my face. As they started to slow down, I looked up to the moon, seeing it being blood red. Carolina snuggled up to Lucretius. I heard him growl and snarl. He lowered me down, telling me to go on Carolina instead. I quickly switched places and she started to run quickly and Lucretius following us. I could hear growls from behind. When I looked behind, I saw ten other werewolves running behind Lucretius and one of them looked more than familiar. It was the same werewolf that tried to kill me few months ago.

We continued to run away from the Blooded Clan. Lucretius howled loudly. Carolina stopped running and Lucretius stepped in front of us, acting protectively. I felt Carolina whine lowly. The fear started to grown on me. I gently grabbed Carolina's fur, hoping that she would save me. The Blooded Clan started growling and snarling at Lucretius who were just standing there, prepared to attack if they cross the line. And once more, he howled in the thin air. It was a message to the free running werewolves or any other that might help us. 

The Blooded clan snarled and took a step closer to Lucretius. There is no way we will survive this, two pureblooded werewolves against fifteen outcasts. Aiden, Vincent, anyone! Please help us.

"Well, well, you Blooded really don't know when to stop." A voice came from the shadows. Two of the Blooded turned around, And the moon shined on that person. Revealing Vincent and Rey, covered in blood and a werewolf head in his hand. Then I heard another werewolves running towards Vincent stopping their tracks with him. They were snarling at the Blooded, Threatening to attack if they don't leave right now. I slowly got down from Carolina's back, standing next to her. Lucretius became bigger than before. The Blooded lowered their ears and scattered away, whining. But the leader turned to us growling at us. Lucretius wasn't having it, and let out the biggest roar he could, making the leader run away in fear.

"Now, werewolves, what are you doing here." Vincent asked, throwing the head on the ground. "We are here to return someone, to the Oathens." Carolina said, turning back to her human form. "And who is that?" he asked, his voice was filled with hope. "It is me, Vincent." I said, my voice cracking from happiness. I heard a whine from one of the werewolves and the one started to walk towards me. It was Aiden. Tears pricked my eyes hard, and they ran down my cheeks while I ran towards him. "Aiden.." I cried into his enormous neck, he was whining placing his paw on my back. Rest of his family came closer and gave me a few nudges with their noses. After a few minutes, I let go and turned around to Lucretius and Caroline, who was snuggled up to him, smiling sweetly. Every wolf bowed down to them. "You do not have to bow." Carolina said, gently rubbing Lucretius's head. "Stay safe Lucia and all of you. We will meet soon enough." She smiled and with that they both started to run away, turning into her werewolf form, disappearing into the woods.

Aiden gently rubbed his head on mine, making me giggle. "Missed me?" I smiled sweetly, earning a whine from him. He lowered his head to my belly then looking at me. "Well, I needed to come back with a small surprise." I giggled. Then he pulled me closer with his head. He lowered himself, letting me sit on him. Then we started to walk back to the mansion. Finally together again. As we were walking I pet Aiden's head. He was going so carefully with me, like a was the most frailest thing on earth. I really missed being with him, both as human and as a werewolf.
