Chapter 6: I'm sorry

As Christina and I walked to their house, we shared some stories about Aiden. She told me things about him I never knew, well like that he is a werewolf, what he likes and doesn't like, and how to not piss him off. And I shared some nice memories that I had with him, both funny and nice. Christina was such an angel and I'm glad that I met her. "Alright here we are. MOM!! DAD!! HELP US!!" she shouted and within seconds her parents where running out of the house. Well, not a house, more like a mansion. " Honey, what happened...Oh poor girl, let us take her. What happened?" her mother started to examine me form head to toe. " I found her tied on the tree, left there to be eaten by Bloodens clan. It's Aiden's girlfriend mom, we need to save her!" Christina started crying while holding me close. " Chris, I'm ok, don't worry" I weakly smiled to her, I started to feel extremely dizzy. " She needs to go inside" Christina's father picked me up like I weighed nothing. "What is happening I smell bloo- Oh god, fine I will prepare her a room." a guy, older than Aiden came and saw the situation. " Oh no, no, no, no. LUCIA!!" I heard someone scream, before everything went black once again.  

*sob, sob* " you can't die Lucia, please, don't leave us alone, please." wait this...voice is.. Christina's. " Aiden needs you, please don't leave us." she is so sad. I tried to talk, but just some sounds came out. "Huh, Lucia, are you awake?" she asked hopefully, holding my hand tightly. "Chris." I was exhausted, slowly I managed to open my eyes, seeing Christina with big red eyes and red cheeks, she was crying all this time. " I'm here now, alright, I'm not going....anywhere" my voice broke when I tried to talk. " Hey, shh, just rest ok? Aiden is on his way back, he will be here shortly, I promise." she said as we smiled to each other. "Thank you, Chris".

As I was trying to get myself together, Christina never left my side. We talked about anything together. I could see she was still scared and started to get really tired. " Christina, it's ok now, you can go to sleep, Aiden should be here soon..." I told her. "No, I want to be with you Luci, I don't want you to be alone." she let our another sob. "can I sleep with you and Aiden tonight? Please, I don't want to be alone." Christina pleaded with puppy eyes, and she knew exactly how to make them. I laughed "You can sleep with us, if Aiden doesn't mind... it is his bed you know". "oh he won't mind, he always takes me in when I have a nightmare or when I can't sleep. We would talk till I fell asleep." she gave me a quick smile. " alrighty, come here then." I took up one cover and let her get in. It didn't take long till she was asleep. Poor child, it must have been a lot for her today, I thought to myself. Gently snuggling her, I fell asleep next to her.

Aiden's POV

When I got a call from my mother about Christina finding Lucia in the forest, I was so pissed, angry and scared. Mother didn't tell me how she was or what happened, she just said that I need to come home as soon as possible. My heart was about to jump out of my chest. I swear if I find out who hurted MY girl, I will rip them apart, piece by piece. Not caring who it is. I drove as fast as I could back to the driveway to our house. I ran inside " Where is she!". I saw mom going down the stairs, when she saw me, she said "stay quite, Lucia and Christina are asleep in your room. And Lucia is alright, she is a bit cold, got a cut on her wrist, but overall she is ok." I ran to her and hugged her, "thank you mom" I quickly whispered before I let go and ran up to my room. Slowly opening the door, I saw them sleeping soundly in my bed. I sat on the corner of the bed, looking on them both. Christina was crying and Lucia too. Damn it. I should have never left her alone. This is all my fault. 

I felt a tear running down my cheek, and others where threatening to spill. As I let out a small sob, "Brother?" Christina has waken up. "Hey, lil devil. How are you?", I asked while drying my tears. " Brother, Luci is ok, she accepted that we are werewolves. I really like her brother, she is the best, brother" Christina said while sitting up and hugging me. "I know lil devil, I know. She is very special to me, you know. And im glad you both are ok." I hugged her closer to me. "But didn't you say you would rip her apart when you saw her?" I asked her softly. " Yes, I said it because I was jealous of her. I thought she would try to take you away from me, force you against me. But she isn't like that, she is really nice and I like her a lot brother. And the way I knew it was her, is because I kind of stalked her on social medias, and I saw how she looks at you and how she is with you. She loves you so much brother." Christina sobbed into my chest. "You will always be my little sister, nobody gonna change that, but you have to share a place with her, ok? I will love you both no matter what, I promise", and there I started crying. Christina hugged me tightly. "hmm, Aiden?" I heard another voice. "Lucia...You are awake" the tears ran like rivers down my face. "ooh Aiden," Lucia said before hugging me and Christina. " God, how much I've missed you Aiden. I'm so sorry Aiden. I love you so much darling." she started crying, hugging me tightly. 

" alrighty, im going to leave you two alone." Christina said as she pulled away form us. "You can stay, Chris, just let me hug him for a while," said Lucia while holding me tightly. "Brother came now, I know you are safe, and I can sleep in peace." Christina smiled to us" good night" and with that she was out of the room.

"Lucia, are you ok? Who did this to you? I swear if I get my ha--" I was stopped by her lips on mine. Not wasting any precious time I pulled her closer to me, deepening the kiss. After a while we pulled apart and placed our foreheads together. "I'm sorry Lucia, that I didn't tell you about this....I was so scared that you would leave me..." She looked up to me and put her small hand on my cheek. " It's ok, I know now. And I'm ok with you being a werewolf, to be honest I don't mind at all" she gave me a small laugh. " I know that I'm safe with you, and I know that you partly blame  yourself for all people who got killed by them....It is not your fault, they chose that way, and you chose this way." Lucia leaned in and gave me a sweet peck on lips. 

"I know, I'm sorry. I promise I will tell you anything you want to know, and I won't be keeping any secrets....Now come on, you have been through so much today, lets sleep, my love" I gave her one last kiss before we both snuggled in bed and fell asleep in each others embrace.
