Chapter 10: The truth

We slept peacefully in each others embrace. I have felt better, now I feel refreshed and surely more alive. I looked to my side, seeing Aiden still sleeping soundly. I laid next to him, in on of my favorite cuddle positions "honeymoon hug" and I started to gently stroke his soft hair, giving him small pecks on his head. When I looked outside, it was snowing. Finally after 3 Christmases, it will finally be a snowy Christmas. And the fact that I might be with Aiden, is even better. 

After months of dating, I have never seen Aiden sleep, either he left when I fell asleep or he woke up before me. So seeing his cute face sleeping was a very nice way to wake up to. I fell more in love with him. I needed him in my life. Without him, nothing would be the same, and I'm glad I met him. As I sighted, Aiden started to slowly move back. I heard him groan before opening his eyes and looked at me. "You little creep..." Aiden groaned towards me and pulled me closer. Giggling with him. " Sorry, I just had to. You were so damn cute." I said, gently stroking his cheek. "Oooh yea? Well, good news for you, this doesn't happen often, hope you enjoyed" Aiden gave me a wink. Giggling together, we just laid there cuddling and kissing each other. I was so happy, everything felt like it was at peace, but I knew we still had to talk about the werewolf and vampire stuff. 

"I know you love seeing me sleepy and mostly in the bed" Aiden smirked again and I rolled my eyes. "But we should get up and eat something." he finished with a small peck on my lips. "Ok, I guess." I smiled towards him, returning the kiss. I slowly sat up and went to the bathroom, took a nice warm shower, when I heard someone knock on the door. "I'm sorry dear, but can I come in?" I heard Aiden sat from the other side. "Sure you can, as long as you don't look" I answered him, with a smirk on my face. "I brought you my hoodie, some new underwear and pants, so you can ugh- change." Aiden broke the silence, I know he looked, but there was not so much he could see, since the whole shower were covered in mist. "Aw thank you Aiden, Love you." I said quickly back. " Mind if I join you?" he said, his voice was deep and husky, making me rethink my choices. "You wish" I tried to hold back my laughter. I heard him sight in defeat, and leave the bathroom. I quickly got out, put on the clothes he brought me and went out. He was laying on the bed, looking at me. "Like something?" I asked innocently.  "Yes, you" he came up to me and gave me a teasing kiss on the cheek, making me laugh. "Alright, lets get some food love." and with that we went down to the kitchen. "Where are others?" I asked looking around the living room. "They are probably on hunt for some food" he said as he was buried into the fridge, trying to find something to eat. 

"Alright darling, let me clean up first and then I will show you around, since I didn't have the chance till now." Aiden said and took our plates from the table. "Hey, come on, let me help you." I came behind him, hugging him around the waist kissing his naked shoulders. "It is fine love, just go and sit back" he replied, gently pressing himself on me. We stood there till he was finished with the cleaning. "Alright, lets go now love. I will show you around." and with that, Aiden took my hand and showed me around this massive mansion like house. Our last stop was probably the most shocking room, the library. "Never thought you would have a library here" I giggled, snuggling to him. "Well, my dad likes history of all kinds so we need a library to keep up with his books and most of our history is here too. Everything you need to know." Aiden picked me up bridal style and laid me on a really comfy couch and covered me with a blanket. "You know I like it when you take care of me like this." I giggled while he tucked me in. "I know darling, that's why I do it and always will do" he gave me a quick peck on the lips. "Now back to the history of the werewolf and vampires and so on." he laid next to me. 

"We have 5 werewolf clans all over the world, they are descendants of 5 powerful and pureblooded werewolf bloodlines. Clans names are Oathens, Riveran, Serendel, Adreilia and Eredailen. The Blooded is not a pureblooded clan, they used to be but after their crimes, they were kicked out from the 5 clans. 

The Pureblooded werewolf are a part of the council that makes all the rules we need to follow, they choose who will be alpha in the clans, if someone can get married with others, if we can turn humans into werewolf and then the punishment for those who disobey their rules. Nobody has ever seen their face, and even if they did, they would be forced to remain silent or death punishment would be served. The five first werewolf's have lived for hundreds of years, keeping the peace between other clans. 

Hundreds of years ago, there were years of wars, both between werewolf all clans and vampires. The battle was so brutal that only a few werewolf's and few vampires survived. All sides blamed the others for starting the war, but the real cause of the war was never found. Werewolf's went their way and vampires their way, holding their hatred against each other. 

After another hundreds of years, there was a meeting between werewolf's and vampires, trying to keep the peace, they agreed werewolves could live in the forests peacefully and could kill any vampires that were threatening them and vampires could kill werewolves that were threatening them. Trespassing was allowed only if both sides knew about it and it was planned.  Both side agreed with this deal and ever since then we had hold peace. 

There is a vampire family that we have been good friends with and we know we can trust them. The Heldairen family, also the ones that patched up your wound. They save us and we saved them so we agreed to be friend and we would be allowed to hunt on each other territory. Any questions?" Aiden looked at me, gently petting my hair. "I mean, sounds pretty scary, but I thought werewolves lived like human beings, for about 70/80 years" I asked confused. "Oh no, we are like humans yes. We can bleed, starve and freeze to death, but if nothing like that happens, we live forever, so we are technically immortal." He answered.  "So we take the Till deaths put us apart literally" he chuckled. "But the Blooded clan kill people when its not allowed?" I asked. "Well, human meat taste better than animals and that's why The Blooded choose to kill and eat humans. We choose what path we want to go when we are still young, we either eat humans or animals. If we choose humans, werewolves usually take the ones that are sick or about to die. And if we choose animals, well, we regulate the numbers by eating them. Easy as that. But now The Blooded clan has gone too far with the murdering of healthy and living humans, which is why we are trying to stop them." Aiden rubbed his head. 

"But Aiden?......Would you turn me into a werewolf? Not now but like.... later on?" I asked him hopefully. He sighted "I would love too, trust me. But it is a very dangerous thing to do." he said lowly. "So many things could go wrong..."He looked into my eyes sadly. " I don't think I would ever forgive myself if something ever happened to you." he looked at me with his adorable puppy eyes. "Please....I survived extreme colds and few days later I nearly got sucked dry...You think a rebirth would kill me?" I put on a teasing tone. Aiden chuckled. "Yea you are right, but remember, you are still weak, your survival chances are lower than before, that's why I don't want to turn yet, or any time soon. And we are only dating for a few months you can always change your mind with me." Aiden sulked sadly. " My feelings for you wont change that easily Aiden. I promise." I gently stroked his cheek, giving him a peck on his soft lips, which he gladly returned. 

Our kiss deepened with each second, and soon enough he was on top of me. We were so into this kiss that none of us noticed something. "Ahem" Aiden quickly jumped off me turning to the door. "Dad?! What a surprise" Aiden awkwardly stroked the back of his head. I buried myself into the blanket, blushing like insane. "Alright, I don't have any problem with you two doing eh the em naughty stuff. But for gods sake not in the library. MY library." He looked sternly on Aiden. "God, why in my library."  I heard his dad walk out of the library. I kept my face buried deep into the blanket, trying to not die of embarrassment. Aiden came to me and took down the blanket, revealing my tomato red face. "Oh its wasn't that bad, he didn't caught us doing anything special." he chuckled. "still, we got caught. Madly making out on his couch." I blushed even harder. "Hey, I will give you as much time as you need, and even if he didn't come and interrupt us, I would ask you" He gave me quick peck on my cheek. "Now come on, you need to meet the rest of the family. " he reached out with his hand. I placed mine into his and we went upstairs to meet his family. And boy, that was a long evening with his family. Expect Aiden, Christina and their parents, there were three older brother named Rick, Jonathan and Kyle and then their aunt Rita and uncle Joshua.

I truly felt welcome and loved by them.
