LUCILLE'S POV I stared at the burnt body of Elder Shaun with fear and rage burning my eyes. I could have saved him, I told myself multiple times, but I failed. It all happened after the clock struck midnight, I hid, waiting for them, I glanced around the mansion in alertness; his warriors were sitting at a corner, jeering as they chugged down rums and liquors, they were oblivious to what was about to befall them.
