“Permanent memory loss?” I asked again, to be sure I heard well, and the pack doctor bobbed his head in affirmation.
“Yes, your highness. But I'd like to run more examinations on him, there are facilities in the pack hospital, so I'd need to take him there.” The pack doctor continued and I suddenly felt empty.
You know that feeling when you're almost achieving your goals, and then a little setback brings you back to step one, all hope lost, with a heavy heart and sadness.
I couldn't hide my disappointment even if I wanted to. If Klaus couldn't remember a thing, we are as good as clueless.
