LUCILLE'S POV Sun rays peeked through the curtain and I slowly opened my eyes, my head throbbing with intense pain. I had been on guard all through the night and didn’t know when I fell asleep. My eyes traveled around the space, checking to see if the strange man had returned or if any other ambush had happened. With a loud sigh, I rose up, made my way toward the bathroom to freshen up.
