Finally, my pack members have recovered, and the reservoir has officially been tested free from wolfsbane. It was a thing of joy, and happiness for my pack members. I too was happy, but I was a bit sad too; those pups that couldn't make it, their parents could still be mourning their loss.
I had myself to blame actually, I should have been extra careful.
Anyway, today is Lucille's pack’s full moon ceremony, and for unknown reasons, I was worried about her.
It could be attacks from the rogues or masked men, or even amongst the pack members. I just knew something might happen and I had to prevent it from happening.
Without wasting much time, I took my bath, got dressed, and was ready to leave, when I saw Derrick, my beta leaning against the pillar in the courtyard.
