Chelsea
“I cannot believe we’re married,” I add as I seize hold of Jason’s hand while looking down at our marriage license. “It seems unbelievable..” I admit.
Jason squeezes my hand. “If I wasn’t driving, I would prove to you how believable our marriage is right now.”
I lean over the seat. “Later you can show me,” I whisper throatily.
“Don’t tease me when I’m driving, Chelsea. You know it doesn’t take much for him,” he gestures toward his p***s, “to stand tall.”
“That’s true,” I giggle, staring at the road.
I understand why mom and Virgil eloped. I realize how it feels to love somebody so much that you cannot imagine your life without them by your side.
Also, I understand what it feels like to love somebody so much that you would do anything in your power to make them happy because that’s how I feel about Jason.
“We’re here,” Jason voices as he pulls into my mother’s driveway.
Together, we exit the car and walk into the house. Upon entering, I glance around, and notice, mom, Virgil, John, Lori, Emily, and Kevin are here.
I’m unable to speak as I’m blown away by everybody being in the same room together. “Are we having a family reunion?” I ask as I find my voice.
Mom comes over to me. “I’m sorry, Chelsea.” She wraps her arms around me and cries into my shoulder, “I couldn’t stand the thought of losing you after I lost your father. It was beyond selfish of me to keep you from your father. After losing him, I feared you would choose to live with your dad, and I would lose you as well.”
I hug her tightly as I try to put myself in her shoes. If it were Jason and me, rage would probably overpower me, and that rage would interfere with me making the right decisions.
Not only that, I definitely wouldn’t want a woman raising my child when there is no reason I couldn’t do it myself. “I love you, mom,” I confess to her honestly. “I forgive you.” It’s no sense for me to remain angry with her. Yes, we have had our problems. Through it all, she is my mother. And, if it weren’t for her, I wouldn’t even be in this world.
Mom strolls toward Virgil, and he clothes her into a hug. “I’m also sorry, Chelsea, for uprooting your life without giving you time to adjust. After thinking about everything, I realize it was wrong of me to do so.”
I shake my head, “You have no reason to apologize, mom. There is nothing wrong with finding love and happiness, and choosing to live your life.” I assure her.
I glance toward Lori, and my father before looking at my mother, “You deserve to be happy mom, and I’m glad you found happiness with Virgil.”
Mom’s eyes dart between Jason and me. “He made this happen,” Mom says, pointing her finger toward Kevin. “Your stepbrother wouldn’t rest until we put aside our differences. Kevin knew we were hurting you.”
I’m shocked as I remain here quiet, uncertain of how to respond in fear I’ll provoke Jason.
“What’s he doing here?” Kevin signals toward Jason while his eyes are boring into mine.
I take my place beside Jason, winding one arm around him. “Jason and I got married,” I announce, holding my hand out for everyone to see the ring. I figure there is no better time to inform everyone.
Rapidly, everybody stops what they’re doing and focuses their attention on Jason and me.
Mom observes the ring on my ring finger. “That’s a lovely ring, Chelsea. Does he make you happy?” Mom asks.
I rest my head on Jason’s muscular arms. “He does,” I assure her.
Gradually, Lori walks toward Jason, “Congratulations.” She adds, smiling brightly, embracing her son in a hug.
“Thank you.” Lori mouths to me.
My dad rubs his fingers through his hair. “You have some explaining to do, Jason.”
Jason smirks. “We can talk later.”
“You better treat my daughter like a princess,” Dad adds, seeming unhappy.
As I stand here observing Lori taking her spot beside my father, I wonder how could do that to my mother. My mother and Lori were best friends throughout high school.
I saw older pictures in mom’s photo albums of Lori and my mother together. They seemed like they shared a unique friendship. Like most teenagers, they had pictures of themselves at parties, amusement parks, and selfies they had taken in school.
I don’t understand how a best friend can sleep with their best friend’s husband.
Jason places his arm around me, pulling me from my thoughts. “I promise to treat her better than a princess, John,” Jason vows.
I glance at Kevin as storms out of the room, and I feel the urge to follow. Once again, I’m left feeling torn between the two.
I never believed Kevin when he admitted his love for me until now. Kevin made my family come together as one because he knew it would make me happy.
“I have to talk to him, Jason.” I plead, hoping he understands.
Jason and I just became husband and wife, and instead of celebrating us coming together as one, I stand here, hoping he understands the reason for me to comfort another guy.
“Don’t.” He commands.
I recognize the jealousy flaming in Jason’s eyes as it’s a look I have grown familiar with. However, that doesn’t stop me.
As I attempt to walk away from Jason, he holds me tighter, “I have to, Jason. I cannot leave Kevin alone without talking to him.” I place my hand over Jason’s heart. “Please trust me.”
I realize Jason doesn’t want me to, but I don’t have a choice. Kevin is and always will be family. And I love him. Kevin has comforted me plenty of times. Therefore, I have to be there for him when he needs somebody. Especially when he’s hurting because of me.
Immediately, I pull from Jason and dart to Kevin’s bedroom. I spot him sitting on his bed, staring at the floor. “I’m sorry, Kevin.”
“Get out.” He hollers.
I ignore his demand and sit down next to him. I lean my head onto his shoulders. “I never believed you until you pulled my family together. Honestly, Kevin, I didn’t think you were capable of love.” I chuckle, “One day, you will find a girl that will love you as much as you love her, and when you do, treat her right, and never let her go.”
“I thought that girl was you, Chelsea. And, here you have done ran off and married that motherfucker.” He stands and strides toward the window.
“I love him.” I state as I stand next to Kevin, “I followed my heart, and it led me to him.”
Kevin turns toward me, “Why couldn’t you love me?” He asks sadly. “Why wasn’t I enough?” He questions, breaking my heart.
I fold my arms around him. “I love you, Kevin. But you were too busy f*****g everything with a hole. Jason was there for me when I needed him the most. While Jason was spending time with me, you were busy with a female chasing me out of the house.”
He folds his arms around me. “I needed a distraction, Chelsea. None of that is important now, considering you’re his wife.” He squeezes me tighter. “Do me a favor?”
“What’s that?” I question skeptically, remaining in his arms, relishing in his scent, realizing I’m going to miss Kevin terribly.
“Be careful, and don’t let your guard down. Don’t let Jason control your every move, and stop you from living life, Chelsea. You’re too lively to be tied down. And, if you ever need me, I’ll be here, Sister.” I pull away from him and playfully smack his shoulder.
“Promise you’ll always be here, brother?” I propose enlightening the mood, also needing reassurance.
“Always.” Kevin responds as he clutches my hand, “Although you have chosen him, we are still family, and that will never change.” I notice Kevin’s eyes watering.
“Kevin,” I mutter his name, hating the fact I have hurt him.
“Don’t Chelsea,” Kevin says, wiping my tear.
I wipe at the tear that has fallen down Kevin’s cheek. “I’m so sorry, Kevin.”
Kevin closes his eyes, placing his palm over mine, keeping my hand on his face. “I’ll miss you, Chelsea.”
“I’ll miss you too,” I admit, unable to control my tears.
“Life is going to be boring without you here. I won’t have anybody to mess with.” Kevin states, voice soft.
I hear a thump, and notice Jason standing in the doorway.
“Go,” Kevin says, nodding toward the door when Jason rushes off.
Feeling torn about leaving Kevin, I chase after my husband. “Jason,” I scream.
My husband ignores me and continues out to the car. As soon as he pops the locks, Jason jumps in the driver’s seat.
I dart around to the passenger seat. “What is your problem?” I question bitterly.
“I stood there and watched my wife feel guilty for marrying me while confessing her love for another man.” He clenches the steering wheel tightly.
“Jason, you have got to stop.” I breathe. “I will not lie to you. I do love Kevin. But you need to understand that you’re the one I love and want to spend the rest of my life with. I wish you would believe me.”
“It’s hard to believe you when every time I turn around, you and Kevin seem too comfortable for my liking.” He bangs the steering wheel. “He’s never going to let you go.”
I used to think Kevin irritated me, but he’s never frustrated as much as this man right here does. “You cannot let go of something you never had,” I state. “Pull over,” I demand.
“Buckle up,” Jason declares.
“No. Pull over,” I speak, louder.
Jason ignores me, so I climb out of my seat and unbuckle his pants. “It’s you I want Jason.” I clutch his p***s in my hand and slowly jerk it.
“Chelsea,” he growls.
“I love you, Jason.” I lick circles around the head of his d**k, as I continue to jerk it.
Finally, he pulls over to the side of the road, “I’m going to fill your mouth up with my seed.”
“I want it all, Jason.” Jason wraps my hair around his hand, and pushes my head down, causing me to take his c**k deeper into my mouth.
“I’m so f*****g jealous of you and him Chelsea,” My husband grumbles.
I remove his c**k from my mouth. “You have no reason to be jealous, Jason. I told you many times; it’s you I want.” I continued sucking his c**k, attempting to prove to Jason that he’s all I want.
“Ride my d**k,” Jason says as he lifts me onto his c**k.
I moan as I slide down onto his erection, slowly filling me. I look into his eyes as I move my hips, never breaking eye contact.
Violently, Jason thrusts his hips upward. “I’ll kill him if you kiss him again.”
My eyes widen at Jason’s remark. I choose to ignore him as I bounce on his c**k, placing my hands on his shoulders.
“I love you wearing skirts,” Jason says as he thrusts upward the moment I slam down on him.
He moves his hand between my legs and circles my c******s, massaging it with enough pressure to bring me over the edge. “Right there, Jason,” I scream out in pleasure. “Please don’t stop,” I beg.
“These are mine,” Jason insists as he traces my lips with his thumb. “This is mine,” he says as he rubs my c**t faster.
He slides his hand around to my ass. “And soon this will be mine.” He thrusts upward, violently, not leaving an inch of me untouched.
“Say it, Chelsea.” He commands.
“It’s yours, Jason. All yours.” I moan as the pleasure flows through my body.
I bury my face in his neck. “I’ll never make the same mistake twice, so you don’t have to worry about me doing anything.” I trace his lips with my thumb harshly like does to mine. “You put these on another b***h too, and you don’t hear me threatening to kill somebody.”
Jason grunts as he cums, “If you hadn’t kissed him, I wouldn’t have kissed her.” After he’s finished, I climb off him, and this time I buckle up.
I realize Jason kissed that b***h to make me jealous. And it worked. In order for him and me to move forward, we will have to leave the past in the past.
“If I could take it back, Jason, I would,” I say regretfully.
“Me too,” Jason admits. “We’ll get through this, Chelsea,” he insists as he twists my wedding ring.
I hope Jason is right. And, I hope Jason can learn to accept Kevin.
Unquestionably, Kevin will always be a part of my life, whether or not Jason approves of it.
Kevin is my family and occupies a special place in my heart. Importantly, nobody, not even my husband, could change that.
