The ancient Pack Council chamber felt suffocating as Daniel entered. His Alpha aura spread through the room like poison. Every breath became harder as his power pressed down on everyone present.
I gripped my seat, fighting against the weakness from the silver poisoning. My wolf, Wendy, remained weak inside me. I kept my face neutral, showing nothing.
Finn sat at the prosecutor's table, shoulders hunched, hands trembling. The sight made my heart hurt.
