The explosion of chaos outside the Pack Council chambers hit like a physical force. Screams and howls pierced the air, feral and desperate. I rushed toward the commotion, my wolf's instincts heightening my senses to the metallic scent of blood and the sour stench of fear.
Finn appeared beside me, his omega scent thick with distress.
"Elara! Is everyone alright?" His brown eyes were wide with panic, hands trembling as they clutched my arm.
I quickly scanned him for injuries. "Stay close to me."
