Peyton didn’t want to think that he had ditched her and left her alone. He didn't seem like the type of guy to do something awful like that, but she did wonder what had happened to him so suddenly.
So she started walking in the direction she saw him go. Peyton anxiously searched the little snack shops but couldn't see Jason anywhere. "Where did he go?" When she asked that question, turning to her left and saw Jason trembling badly. Peyton walked up to him quickly. "Are you okay?" she asked frantically, seeing his swiftly declining condition.
He couldn't answer her, he was sweating profusely, his lips were trembling as he tried to speak. Peyton wrapped his arm around her shoulders as she told him. "Keep walking to that bench over there."
