Slowly adjusting to the light intensity of twilight, I just laid down smiling for no reason. I came to realization that yesterday's night was just a pivotal moment of my life. My life was engulfed in sadness and painful regret as a result of my father's painful death.
I couldn't recall that I had this jovial personality within me. This continued until I had this dinner at Lucas yesterday. His manner of approach was unlikely other days. He just had like a father-daughter discussion.
With that, I felt like a heavy burden was lifted yesterday and felt the sense of renewal. I had to prepare for work today as this renewal to be permanent. After a while, I finished the preparation office and I step outside. Luckily, I found a cab very swiftly who took me directly to the company.
