After I met with Lucas in his office, I returned to mine to concentrate on the day's activities. I sat back in my chair trying to resonate with what Lucas said. Even though Lucas is my Boss and the CEO here, I didn't want him to portray me in a dark light.
I've tried my best to make sure that our relationship is out of the public eye but I am still shocked. How does this person get to know our relationship? Lucas himself had warned me not to let out any hints about our relationship.
It turns out that someone was secretly watching us the whole time. I hope that this person will be brought to face the law which I'll curb the spread of such information. Despite all these thoughts, I realized that I was still in my workplace which requires attention.
