Chapter 18

1036 Words
Alpha Silver I was more than amused by how quickly Malcolm had reached the door and pushed his wife behind him protectively. "So, I finally meet the man that was promised to my daughter as her husband." I extended my hand to Malcolm that ignored it without hiding his disgust for me. I glanced around and noticed the people glaring at me. One thing for sure, Malcolm and his wife was definitely protected. Another thing was that Percivus had obviously lied to me. He made is sound as if the Spane and Sullivan packs were close to war. From what I could see right here, it was obvious that they were close as family. I turned my focus back to Malcolm, "You made an agreement with my father that does not have the standing or power to make any kind of agreement on behalf of anyone." He snarled at me. "I hold here in my hand an agreement signed in blood by your mother and your father. So I am sure you know that I have the evidence to have your marriage to Carmen annulled." I snapped back at him. I knew that I did not have the evidence to present to the council. My main purpose here today was to gather information. I had to stir the pot a bit. "I am not trying to upset the ladies, so let's talk right here." I said pointing to a row of decorated benches. He gave me a slow nod, "Carmen, go back in the house with everyone, I will be okay." He said to his wife. She looked him straight in the eyes, "The answer to that is NO, I do not trust him and I am not going anywhere!" She said crossing her legs and arms. In any other situation I would be amused and impressed, but she was the wolf standing in the way of my daughter's desires and I could not let myself be distracted by her. He did not even try to argue with his wife.  I heard the door open and a gorgeous woman stepped  out of the house.  She was wearing body hugging jeans with boots and a snug fitting shirt. If she did not have a few strings of gray hair, anyone would mistake her for Malcolm's sister. "Alpha, it seems that Percivus has lied to you. I cannot enter a blood oath. My signature is sealed by the council. I can only make a blood oath with two members of the council present  as witnesses." Madeline said.   My breath caught. F**k, she was gorgeous. Percivus was cheating on her with a witch. It must have been some witch. As soon as she was divorced, it would not be a wolf young or old that would not want her. My own pants was getting tight looking at her. I knew that I had to keep my head straight, because if I didn't I would not get the information that I needed before I made Percivus pay. "He did not tell me that. He said that you were more than willing to give your signature and that Malcolm was excited about it." I told her. She leaned toward me, and all I saw was the mounds of her breast. "Some free advice for you Alpha, there is only one thing that Percivus does well, and that is lie. He is an expert at it." She said. She straightened herself and walked back toward the house. Her ass was everything. I wonder how Percivus would feel if he knew that I had bedded his wife? I laughed to myself. I am sure he and all his weakness would try to challenge me.  "I am willing to make a deal with you. "I said to Malcolm. "You don't have to marry Melanie. When she goes into heat, then you will be the one to impregnate her. Then you can go ahead with your life with Carmen and never hear from us again." I proposed. "The answer is no! The only woman that will ever share my bed is Carmen. " He roared.  I glanced around to see half of the household was outside. I was not afraid of a battle, but I was not ready yet. I had to put some plans together.  "It is the only way to guarantee your father's life and make sure...... A loud roar ripped from Carmen and she leapt up shifting in mid-air grabbing a witch and ripping her head off midway down, as soon as her hind feet barely hit the ground, she was back airborne and ripped another witch down and throwing her against the row of dogwood trees. With a graceful leap, she came back down taking her head off in one pull. Everyone was on their feet, including myself. I muttered a few curses. These two were powerful witches and this wolf had killed them in seconds. With all the training that Melanie had over the years, she never possessed the ability to kill one witch, not to mention two. It was almost as she had sensed them the moment they arrived. I had asked them there to put a weakening spell on Malcolm, but now this really complicated things. "What the f**k are you?" I accidentally blurted out to Carmen. Before I could get my thoughts together, Fenris came out with a ground shaking roar "Leave! Take all your disagreements to Percivus or I swear to the Moon goddess that your next visit here will be your last!" Fenris bellowed.  I was in shock, I had gotten the information that I needed. I had been warned about Silas' daughters. I knew that they were the strongest she wolves in the kingdom.  If they were stronger than Malcolm's wife then attacking them would be a suicide mission. I am sure that Percivus knew that. That was probably the reason that he was hidden away in the castle.  He had apparently thought of every way that he possibly could to get us killed before I asked him to honor our agreement. On everything that I loved, he would pay. He would pay, he would beg for death and it would be slow coming.
